Meet Dr. Nina Ghazanfari

Dr. Nina Ghazanfari earned her DDS with honors in 1996, then continued postgraduate work in orthodontics, endodontics, Lumineers, laser dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. She has a teaching background in oral health, public health, and prevention, so she strongly believes in and promotes patient education. Dr. Ghazanfari is certified in Invisalign, laser dentistry, and Lumineers.

Dr. Ghazanfari has been in private practice since 1996 and has owned two dental practices. She served as a Director of Oral Public Health for three years and has also lectured to and instructed dentists, hygienists, and other healthcare providers at more than 60 events. For the World Health Organization, Dr. Ghazanfari has conducted several public health research projects.

As a vested member of the dental community, Dr. Ghazanfari holds membership in the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Santa Clara Dental Society (Public Relations Committee) and Women in Dentistry Committee. She also volunteers for many organizations and visits schools to promote oral health education. She is proud to have been awarded recognition for Volunteer Work from Santa Clara Dental Society. She was also selected twice as the best oral public health director.

After hours, Dr. Ghazanfari and her husband, a medical device engineer, enjoy sports, like swimming, hiking, and jogging. She is a nature enthusiast, and also likes poetry and creative writing.
