Q) What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a series of invisible aligners that are used in the place of metal braces for unnoticeable and comfortable orthodontic care. Because Invisalign is removable, it's easy to practice regular oral hygiene and eat the foods you love, too.
Q) How long does Invisalign treatment take?
The length of treatment will depend on the complexity of your case. Each aligner is worn for two weeks, and the more severe the case, the more aligners needed to complete treatment.
Q) How often must I wear my aligners?
Every day! You wear the aligners all the time unless eating or brushing your teeth.
Q) Are there restrictions on the foods I can eat?
Nope. Because the aligners are removable, you don't have to avoid any types of food; you simply take out your aligners when eating.
Q) How often must I visit the office?
You will need to schedule check-ins with our office every six weeks so that we can make sure treatment is progressing properly.
Q) Will treatment affect my speech?
You may notice a slight difference in your speech when you first begin wearing Invisalign. As you get used to the aligners, this will go away.
Q) Is Invisalign painful?
You may notice some soreness in the beginning of treatment, but this problem will subside within of few days each time you change your aligner.
Q) Is Invisalign affordable?
The cost of treatment can depend on a number of factors, including length of treatment and your specific treatment plan. Schedule your complimentary initial consultation for a no-cost visit during which we'll tell you what your treatment will cost and help you devise a financial arrangement to make your new smile more affordable.
